Do YouTube Shorts views count towards the 4000 watch hours?
No. Public watch hours from the Shorts Feed do not count towards the 4,000-hour threshold. Shorts are monetized separately under the YPP views model (requiring 10 million views in 90 days).
Do private or unlisted video watch hours count?
No. Only public, active video views contribute. If you delete, private, or archive videos, the watch hours earned from them will be subtracted from your lifetime tally.
