Vertical Video Loop & Hook Timeline Planner
Pace short-form scripts, partition timelines into retention blocks, and evaluate seamless loop transitions.
Estimate script duration, pace retention hooks, and optimize seamless loop connectivity
How to use this tool
Pacing and Hook Structures
Short-form videos (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) are heavily reliant on early retention and replay metrics.
- Pacing Range: Standard conversational speaking speeds range between 130 and 160 Words Per Minute (WPM).
- Timeline Divisions: High-retention vertical videos are structured with a 0-3 second Visual/Text Hook, a 3-8 second Context Bridge, and a value body wrapping into a seamless loop ending.
How to Build a Seamless Loop Script
Input script drafts and adjust pacing parameters to map timelines and loop metrics.
Input Script Text
Write or paste your vertical script draft into the console. Adjust the slider to match your speaking pace.
Define Segment Offsets
Split your text into Hook, Bridge, and Body structures to visualize the timeline distribution.
Audit Loop Connectivity
Review the phonetic/grammatical loop connection score and copy your optimized script.

What is a 'Seamless Loop' and why does it matter?
A seamless loop is a scripting technique where the final words of the video transition naturally (both grammatically and tonally) back into the very first words of the hook. If done correctly, viewers don’t realize the video has restarted, causing them to watch the beginning a second time. This spikes your average view duration (AVD) above 100%, signaling the algorithm to expand the video’s reach.
How do I write a loop connection?
End your script mid-sentence or with a preposition (like “because…”, “which means you should…”, “so I built this…”) and start your hook with the resolution (e.g. “…how to double your income”). When combined, the end and start form a complete sentence, creating an infinite, seamless loop.
